The short version
Truffle Hunting Oregon participates in affiliate programs. If you click a stay booking or car-rental link and complete a qualifying reservation, we may earn a commission from the partner. This comes out of the partner's side of the transaction and does not change the price you pay.
Affiliate partners we use
- Stay22 — handles hotel booking intent by rewriting some "Check rates" links to booking partners such as Booking.com. We do not control which final booking provider you land on.
- DiscoverCars.com — powers the car-rental comparison banner and direct affiliate links.
How affiliate links work
Affiliate links contain tracking parameters, such as a_aid, a_bid, or a data-stay22 attribute. When you click a tracked link, the partner may place a cookie or session identifier on your browser. If you complete a booking or rental within the partner's attribution window, the partner credits us with a commission.
Editorial independence
We choose route stops, festivals, guided-hunt operators, restaurants, and stay bases based on route fit, traveler usefulness, season, and verified availability — not on whether they participate in an affiliate program. We do not accept payment for placement, sponsored posts, or paid reviews. Many of the venues and operators mentioned have no affiliate relationship with us.
How to identify affiliate links
Affiliate links are typically found in "Check rates" buttons, the DiscoverCars.com banner, or in URLs with partner tracking parameters. Not every external link is an affiliate link. Links to festival websites, restaurant sites, operator pages, maps, and society pages are ordinary editorial references.
Booking flow and attribution
Stay links may open partner booking sites rather than the hotel's direct website so that affiliate attribution is preserved. Car-rental links open DiscoverCars.com. Once you leave our site, the partner's terms and privacy policy apply.
No extra cost to you
Affiliate commissions, when earned, are paid by the partner. You do not pay more because you clicked through our link. In some cases, partners may offer the same or better rates than direct bookings, but you should always compare before booking.
Changes to this disclosure
If we add or remove affiliate partners, or change how we disclose affiliate relationships, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
